POWERTRACK ADDS LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE TRACK AT 2008 FINANCIAL SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE
MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 4, 2008) – PowerTrack, the world’s largest freight payment service from U.S. Bank, is adding a Logistics Executive track to this year’s 2008 Financial Supply Chain Conference. The annual conference, hosted by U.S. Bank for its payment customers and industry professionals, will be held March 4-6, 2008, in Anaheim, Calif.
“The Logistics Executive track is one of the industry’s best opportunities to directly learn about the financial impact of supply chain activities. We have a great lineup of presenters, including executives from Schneider Logistics, Auburn University, NASSTRAC, and Chain Connectors,” said Richard Langer, general manager for PowerTrack.
The one-day Logistics Executive track will focus on some of the current issues facing the transportation industry, such as fuel costs, driver shortages and infrastructure challenges. Attendees will discuss the advantages of supply chain management (procurement, execution, measurement) in a global economy and its direct correlation to company profitability. They will also hear real life examples of how to manage and collect data to make more effective supply chain decisions.
